I am an airpark resident, glider and airplane pilot with a fondness for rag and tube taildraggers. I've been in the avgas business since 2000, having married into a
flying family. Currently I'm working on my
1937 Porterfield 35-70 project. My other hobby is translating prewar aviation
books.
I took the gas pumps over from the estate of Harry Malette, a legend here who helped bring the airpark through some rough times and who fostered it into becoming the unique place that it is today.
I am dedicated to maintaining the friendly atmosphere that Harry established. Hope to see you here at Independence!
